EVERYONE

If we aren't connected , we can't communicate ! Simple !

I have no idea if he talks to the Pope or not ....after all , the pope is just a human being like us & has no special status as far as God is concerned.

The prophets eg Abraham ,Isaac & Jacob definitely had direct communication with God ! Why ? Because they were living in accordance with his will !

Short answer: Everyone

Slightly more complete answer:

All depends on what subject. We are each entitled to personal revelation about ourselves and those we are in charge of (IE children). So in that case, God talks to everyone. On the other hand, if there is revelation to be had in regards to Gods Kingdom upon the earth (the Church) then only prophets would be spoken to about that.

IOW if you want to know how to talk to you child about a problem...yes...God will help you and speak to you through his Spirit if you ask. If you want to know how to lead the children of God en mass then no, God won't speak to on how to do that other that telling you to listen to His Servants the Prophets.

God has communicated through a Vibration or Resonance
to all of Gods Prophets. This was sent through the Archangel
Gabriel. This was to describe the nature of God and give directions to his children.
God speaks to his children in the form of signs. One must be open to these signs, and this requires "Wisdom".
A human can be deceived as to these signs if one has not cleaned the heart. Cleaning the heart is necessary to receive
signs from God.

God talks to everyone, but we have to keep an open mind and be able to read signs and take hints. God doesn't just come out and say anything, we have to talk to him, and be patiant, cuz God acts on his on time. I learned this on my own, and after i figured it out, everything went a heck of a lot smoother in my life, hope it has the same effect in yours!

"Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God." Joshua 3:9 NLT

When we pray, we talk to God. When we listen, God can talk to us. Unfortunately, most of us spend all our prayer time talking to him, never taking time to listen.

God speaks to us in various ways: Through the teaching of the Bible. Through "Scripture explosions." (This is when a verse literally jumps off the page and speaks to us.) He speaks through a "still, small voice" in our hearts and minds. And sometimes he speaks through other people or through circumstances - in these cases, the message will usually be a confirmation of what he's already told us.

Consider this ...
How do we know when we are hearing from God, not the enemy or even our own imaginations? First, God comes openly with peace, never causing fear, anxiety or guilt. Second, his message will always line up with Scripture and will build faith. And third, his message will result in more love and more power in our lives - not in confusion.

God loves you and wants to communicate with you.

I was only able to establish contact with god after meditating for years and doing tia chi.I also did art and writing ,astral projection and LSD. One day it just happened and ill never forget that day. I think we are living in a combination of blockages and also deliborate ignoring of god. The block is pretty deep and hard to break down. Giving the appearance that god does not exist at all. I'm not really sure why or how this works exactly. But it seems we live in a world were God sort of put us out for bad behavior. But i dont pitty anyone who does not believe in GOD. and i question people who say they do. Becuase its not that easy.

He talks to you, if you learn how to listen to Him. Not the way you talk to your friends or just anyone, though sometimes, He talks THROUGH them. Try it. Go to a Christian church or someplace quiet. Close your eyes and clear your mind. Say sincerely, "I believe in you, I place my trust in you. Teach me or grant me the grace to know you". If you know the Lord's prayer, say it sincerely. Stay still for a while. Calm your body and your soul. Concentrate on Him.

Do not expect to hear His voice. And do not expect an immediate answer. But one day, He will answer you. Learn to read the "signs" of His answer. He may use someone who cares for you, like your family, to tell you what you need to hear. Or it can be a series of "coincidences". Do not ignore them. Have faith, be charitable - in the Christian sense. Or you may simply hear His answer in your mind. Or it can be answered by a complete stranger - but it is the answer you are looking for - one only you can recognize.

After all, if He talks to you directly and you tell others that God is talking to you, they might put you away!

God talks to everyone. Some people are better listening to God than others.

Meditation is one way to listen to God. Listen for your voice within. You will know it is your inner voice - your consciousness, - your connection to God, if you will, especially when it resonates within you as a joyful feeling or at least, it is a you know it's true, kind of feeling.

He is trying to talk to us all, all the time, but we are tuning him out and not listening.

I have a favorite poem, by Robert Frost, on this subject:

"I turned to speak to God
About the world's despair.
To make bad matters worse,
I found God wasn't there.

God turned to speak to me --
(Don't anybody laugh!) --
God found I wasn't there --
At least, not over half."

When I think God's not "there", it's usually me who's really not all there! When that is the case, I try praying, "Help me to be all there!"

When I take down the walls, tune out my own chatter, and listen for him -- he is always there.
