I accidently shaved my eyebrows off around 2 weeks ago! lol, i know... 'WHAT AN IDIOT'(and i had perfect eyebrows before!!). I've had to pencil them in over those weeks, so can anyone suggest when they'll grow back fully & will they continue to grow forever or will they stop at some point?

thank god my mum & sister didn't find it funny, (they were gobsmacked).

For those who think that haven't grow out yet, they have, but they're half-way there.

How it happened: I kinda slipped (whilst shaving my legs) and 1 of my eyebrows were shaved off a bit, so it looked like i had half a eyebrow, so i had to shave the other 1 to match the half look, but it didn't work, so i shaved them off completely, lol.

They will grow back but you really need to give them a chance (speaking from experience although I never fully shaved them off!)
The best advice I can give would be to either get them done professionally when they do grow back or get a reall good tweezers (benefit cosmetics is the best in my opinion) and pluck them a few times a week. If you keep this up, after about 2 years, you'll only need to pluck them around once a week. Be carefull though - once you get to that stage either by plucking or waxing, there's no going back, it simply will refuse to grow any longer. Good luck!

I hate to tell you this a friend of mine did the same thing but they never did grow back, hopefully in your case they will, she has to use an eyebrow pencil all the time but it looks fine so dont worry too much, but i am sure you will be fine,i should think that what happened to my friend is very rare.

OMG - you have obviously never read Louise Rennisons Georgia Nicholsons books!!! They don't grow forever- blimey we would all have eyebrows down to our toes- you don't think we all spend endless hours in the bathroom plucking our eyebrows do you? They will grow back fully in a week or two. In future pluck gently or go and get them bleached or waxed properly.

They WILL grow back for sure.
They won't grow forever.
Hair growing longer after shaving is not drastic enough for you to worry.
The only difference may be the texture of the hairs.
My personal advice would be to get them waxed to ensure equal length and prevent ingrown hairs ( yuck ).

IF they don't grow back (and in all likelihood they will) you can get them tattooed on in a beauty parlour anyway, then you won't have to do the pencil stuff every day and worry about them smudging if you swim or whatever.

Just one question springs to mind - how do you 'accidently' shave your eyebrows off?
