For shooting movies with a mini-DV camera? Shotgun, Cardioid, Supercardioid or other?

for interviews, a shotgun, so it will reject sound from back and side. normally for interviews the camera is pointed at the person talking so this works good. mono.

for music events, a non-directional so that when you move the camera to different subjects, like from band to dancers, the timbre of the sound does not change. mono. The band should be recorded in stereo, but from a fixed mic, not one on the camera.

for "natural sound", a cardoid, so that sounds from the back are rejected, this could also be a stereo mic, and is ok for general purpose use if you don't want to carry a half dozen mics.
