no, i believe in dinos but they were gone before there was any flesh man on the planet....last around 12,000 b.c. or so when the woolly mammoths were killed off due to a planetary shift etc...but we still have ancient critters like whales, sharks, crocs, mosquitos and many other species that are millions of years old....fossil record is awesome!

I had a fairly lengthy internet discussion with someone who believed that the world is 6000 years old, and dinosaurs, who lived at the same time as early humans, died off during the "flood." What scared me is the guy was obviously fairly intelligent, and he kept referring to a particular internet site where "creationist scientists" (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) gave disinformation on basically every scientific contradiction to the bible. Think about it: these people actually use the bible (a book written thousands of years ago by relatively primitive people) as a text for not only biology, but also for astronomy, cosmology, the formation of languages, and other topics. It's just sad that so many in the U.S. truly believe in this nonsense.

I have never heard a Christian say that...and I know lots of them. I think we need a new line of questioning. It can't be too complicated, or require knowledge of the Bible beyond John 3:16. Lets try the purgatory angle, or God's order of business in Genesis (split night and day them made the sun).

Awe...they're not going to listen, anyway. They love there lives of love and hate our lives of hate (or so they imagine). I gave up preaching to them en mass. Now I try to corner them one at a time.

Oh, they sure do.

Ever heard of the ironically named "Dr. Dino"?

I'm not sure if he's currrently in prison for fraud. Check with his secretary.
