Illuminates when the transmission
control switch has been pushed.
When the light is on, the
transmission does not shift into
overdrive. If the light does not come

Could be a fault in the GEM module (Generic Electronic Module). Quite an expensive little device but it controls quite a lot of the electrical functions.

A fault code has been set in the computer. Need to get the computer scanned for codes to see what the trouble is.
