You can do nothing but talk about it or you can contact your legislative people to let them know how you feel. I think we need to (1) secure the border, (2) round up, register and teach the illegals the correct way of entering the US then deport them (any illegal alien not turning him/her self in during the designated period would be jaild and deported and not allowed back into the United States for three years), (3) establish a better work program (managed by a government contractor (9 regional work management centers throughout the United States), (4) make employers request alien workers through the work centers who would process them through to the employer and see the worker is properly protected, and (5) fine any employer who knowingly employees an illegal alien a minimum of $5,000.00 plus ten times any wages and benefits not properly paid and/or reported for the first offense and $20,000.00 for the second violation. Any better ideas that congress and the senate should know ?

I've done many things but i'll mention the two I considerer more important.

I called ALL senators and representatives in my state and district and told them how I feel about this crazy bill and I promise them that, if they vote in a way that favor this infomous bill, we (me and most menbers of my family) will never, ever, vote for him/her again.

I also keep campaigning against those politicians and senators that are trying to sell this country out for a bunch of votes.

And, in the meantime, who's gonna wash your dishes and mow your lawns, who's gonna help California stay in the place it is right now?, who's gonna clean up your houses, hotels and restaurants? You, an american regular guy? I don't think so mate, how do I know this?, because I know many of you americans would rather be out on the streets begging for spare change than to do any of these worthless, terrible duties.
Remember, the US have been, are being and will be built on immigration, legal or illegal... cheerio mate.

Your ideas are fine, but add jail time to the second offense.

I've sent over 600 emails and faxes to our alleged "Representatives". Some to thank those Senators that voted against cloture, and most to those who voted for it urging them to listen to their constituents, and telling them that when re-election comes up for them I hope they have something else lined up, because they'll be voted out to the street.

Don't forget the marches, from June 14-16th, across the country. "March for America" I believe it is called.

I was one of the people that inundated our senators office :) Corker-TN finally changed his tune, and admitted he got a lot of angry calls and emails....now hopefully they'll keep that attitude.
