As stated before.. I'm sure you have tried all the obvious, logical quick fixes so ...all I can suggest is check with your doc. Have him run a full thyroid panel on you. Sounds like your internal body thermometer may be stuck on high due to hyperthyroidism or something similar. A simple blood screening can tell the doc alot and if it is thyroid related it's a simple fix with medication. I get hot but alot of times am busy so I can't jump in the pool and get completely wet or don't have time for the whole shower thing..so I just dangle my feet in the water getting my feet and lower legs wet and that seems to help alot and can be done as often as I like! A tall cup of ice water really cools as well as keeping a sweating, hot person hydrated! Hope this helps and call your doc ..comfort may be just a phone call away. Have a great day!!!

Are you constantly hydrating? Drinking water all day not just cups at a time but sipping throughout the day? If you are sweating this is natural but if you feel hot like with fever then you might have a slight bacterial infection. When was the last time you had a general check up? Has your sugar intake increased? When I have changes in my body's behavior I usually keep a little mental note or mark the daily symptoms on my planner it helps me eliminate environmental, diet and/or lifestyle changes. If these changes continue or cause me to really worry I go to my doctor.

I'm guessing you're already doing the commonsense things such as staying in the shade, going swimming, etc. For clothing, a tight t-shirt and shorts won't help you cool off.
You need to wear loose, light-colored clothing, preferably cotton. The light color helps if you're in the sun. Loose clothing will permit any wind, even that generated by walking, to dry up the sweat. Getting clothing wet will also help.
Drink cold drinks. Wet a bandana and tie it around your neck. Wear a loose-weave hat if you're in the sun. Wet your hair. Put ice cubes on the back of your neck.

Sip cold water. I keep water in the fridge just for that reason! It really keeps me more comfortable. If you can, go someplace air-conditioned during the peak heat of the day. The library is always a good choice. It's free and you can read in peace for a couple of hours or use the computer. Go shopping. If you have no money to spend, that's OK. Window shopping is good. Try the mall, or WalMart. You can still try on clothes, even if you have no intention of buying.

Get a fan sister, am not fat but I am pregnant and i am hot all the time, a fan moves the air and helps your sweat to evaporate, making you feel cooler.

Or go to the movies they are air conditioned, or the Mall.

your probably hot due to lack of water. keep really cold water with you...also Ive noticed that the more im outside the less the heat bothers me. Im like a girly girl who hates everything about the outdoors so I would sweat the min I was outside, and I may of only had a skirt and tank top on. but the more I was outside, the less I would sweat. plus I would sip on cold water.

Taking a shower or a cool dip in a pool can ease the heat from your body. Also it helps to take a long cool drink like lemonade or tea with lots and lots of ice.

You're body is probably wanting to do something active but your mind is wanting otherwise. Take a shower again or release some HEAT from your body (works on me all the time).
