Well i am not like the other guys and gals on here. they take to much time. take a bolt, a short one put the threaded end on the top of the torque head. when you do this your holding the bolt with the neg. ground of your welder. take the welder and spot weld the threaded end to the head of the torque then put a socket on the bolt and out it comes no fuss no muss. if you need pics let me know i'll do one and take pics and send them to ya.

"Easy outs" sound like the best option. those are good sized screws and tapping in a larger Torx bit may just strip it more.

after you have that one out go ahead and remove all the other Torx screw on the jeep and replace them with a nice set of stainless hardware to keep it from happening again.

There are bits called "easy outs." You need an electric drill with a reverse mode. The easy out is like a drill bit, but with a reverse twist. Put the end of the bit in the torx hole, turn the drill on, running in reverse. It should twist right out.

craftsman makes a tool called "screwout"
it works like an easy out but there is no drilling. it should work on the three bolts that hold the mirror on. if you decide to drill them becareful because the bolts aren't very long. if you go to deep you could hit the door.

Try hacksawing or "dremel tool grinding" a Slot in it.

Otherwise you'll probably have to drill the head off,or grind it off,,and grip the screw shank with vise grips, etc

Good luck,,,those can be really tuff sometimes
