Yes. They are mostly Coptic Christians, but there are Christians in Ethiopia.

Of course, there is Christianity in Ethiopia. In fact, some people believe that the Ark of the Covenant is stored in that country at Our Lady Mary of Zion Church. The Ethiopian Orthodox Church is quite ancient, and Christianity has had a long-standing presence there. There are also some non-Orthodox Christian groups there.

Ethiopia is almost 50-50% Christian and Muslim. Although I do not understand why you're nervous we have been living peacefully with eachother for centuries. so whatever it is that's bothering you, bother no more... religion, no matter what kind, is tolerated. But if you're a preacher or something make sure the people come to YOU.

er nervous about what?im ethiopian orthodox.what do you want me to tell you?we just celebrate things at diffrent times our christmas is january 7th but i celebrate it on the 25th anyway.Our easter is also not the same day as everybody elses thats along with all the other orthodox greek orthodox etc. easter but sometimes its the same day.We basically do everything religiously like jesus did we fast for 40 days and nights.

Missionaries are being evicted from Eritrea, which became a separate country from Ethiopia about 20 years ago. Eritrea is about 50% Muslim.
