Why Would Someone Put a Bottle of Holy Water on a Grave? (Catholics Only)?

I did see this, and it said "holy water" on a plastic bottle.

Besides flowers what else can you put on someone elses grave.

Note: I've put a little stone guardian angel, but someone took it or the gardners threw it away. Any suggestions?

I don't exactly know.

But it might be just to remind people that this was a baptized Christian.

Catholics bless themselves with holy water to remind themselves of their baptism.
