how about we replace some of our tired troops with the illigals here in us,and let them fight for their right to share our country and the benifits that it brings them? it seems fair to me. my greatgrandfather and my great uncle both died for this country to give me an oppurtunity to work and live and pay taxes here. it seems like a little compromise on their part might get americans to be a bit more acceptive of them. let them earn the right to be americans.

what i am proposing is american citizenship to the family of a illigal that fights for this country. it is a simple agreement. and i think it is a fair one.

that would be a great idea, i know number a people that have told me they'd be willing to serve for the country to earn their citizenship.
And by the way, non-citizen does not mean illegal, just thought I'd let you know. . .
my cousin is in the marines, and he's not a citizen, he's a legal resident. . .get it right

EDIT: just thought id mention i wouldn't support a draft, it would have to be voluntarily

I cant remember but I think there was a young man that was going to get his citizenship when he got back from Irag but was killed. I may not be correct at all but it seems I heard that awhile back.

The proposal is worth looking at but I am sure they will want someone that already has the language ability to perform and follow orders. I dont know how many new illegals could do that.

Have you ever seen the news of an Alberto Gutierrez who died in Irak two months ago? His parents were illegal immigrants mate, and I believe they've already paid the ultimate price, so, what do you think, would you consider them now as fellow americans? And there are lots of stories just like this, only they don't get much media coverage, you know, they were just latins.

There are many non citizens wearing the uniform in Iraq and elsewhere. They do it without fanfare.

I don't support forcing anybody to join the military. I believe in freedom, and the draft is not freedom.

As far as illegal aliens, I believe in the "Castle Doctrine". Just as I have the right to use deadly force on somebody that breaks and enters into my house, we should use deadly force on somebody that breaks and enters into my country. Maybe a criminal is just hungry, or maybe they are going to rape and murder my family. I'm not going to wait to find out, criminals do not get the benefit of the doubt. Shoot first, ask questions later. There is no excuse to break the law.

If they are willing to, then I'd say yes.
But not forcing them to.
I do not agree with drafts -whether it be with legals or illegals.
