No it is definately not a good idea. According to Wikipedia:
Inbreeding may result in a far higher expression of deleterious recessive genes within a population than would normally be expected. As a result, first-generation inbred individuals are more likely to show physical and health defects, including:

reduced fertility both in litter size and sperm viability
increased genetic disorders
fluctuating facial asymmetry
lower birth rate
higher infant mortality
slower growth rate
smaller adult size
loss of immune system function.

Unless you know the genetics of the dogs very well, I wouldn't recommend it. Breeding siblings doesn't automatically make something horrible happen, but there is a higher chance of genetic disorders because the dogs will both carry the same recessive genes.

Might I suggest that you get both dogs neutered/spayed. That will increase both of their life expectancies. In addition, you'll have fewer behavior problems and you won't be bringing puppies into a world that has far too many unwanted dogs as it is.

At the very least, visit a dog shelter before you decide to breed. If you can imagine those dogs being euthanized because they couldn't find a home and you still want to breed, then nothing anyone says can stop you.

A resounding NO! Breeding is a serious matter. Just like human brothers and sister should not be married and have children, dogs should not mate with siblings. Genetic illnesses and defects will be exaggerated and can cause death, blindness, major defects of the spine and nervous system. An unrelated female should be bred with your male and an urelated male should be bred to your female. So many things can go terribly wrong. Then you are left with very sick, and unwanted puppies. Just spend the extra money and get another dog or even stud service. The stud fee will be only a small percentage of the vet bills you could incur with a large litter. One of my females had a litter of 10 her first breeding.

It is not a recognized breed (by AKC, etc), but it does exist. Basically people bred small dog to small get as tiny as they could. "Teacups" of any breed often have MAJOR health problems because no ethical breeder purposely breeds dogs that are out of standard (too small)! A pet store will know what you're talking about, but you're going to pay thousands for the dog, then even more when you discover how many freaking health problems it has.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU837

A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

You're mom's indiscriminate taste in breeding practices is what ultimately causes the breakdown of breeds: genetic problems caused by inbreeding.

Not a good idea.

Not Good! It might happen in nature, but not if we can help. Inbreeding, like in all species in the animal kingdom, will cause (lets say) genetic breakdown. Most obvious breakdown is the immune system in a dog. It will be more prone to diseases of all kinds.

Depends on if your from Tennessee...LOL...just kidding.
I would think it would be pretty much the same as breeding a brother and sister human...Medical journals have proven in-breeding causes mental retardation even in animals so I wouldn't suggest it.

NO! Would you make babies with your brother? Of course not! That's what cause all the defects in pure breed dogs!
