I want to hear from people who believe the Earth is fixed and the rest of the solar system revolves around the Earth.

This kook of a site tries to say the the Earth is fixed in space and the rest of the universe revolves around the Earth based on some bible verses and the only proof they have are these bible verses.

When I buy a round trip plane ticket from Orlando to Los Angeles with no stops (both ways). I ride in the same model plane both ways going the same speed.

It takes quite a bit longer for me to get from L.A. to Orlando than it does for me to get from Orlando to L.A.

Why is that...??? Is it because the plane enters some sort of mystical rift in time and space

~or~

Is it the more logical solution that the Earth actually rotates on an axis and that the plane is going WITH the rotation of the Earth in one direction and AGAINST the rotation of the Earth in the other direction?

Does my watch malfunction every freakin' time I step inside the plane.

The actual amount of time it takes for the trip should be pretty much the same, except for the effect of winds. The local time on the clock is different because of the time zones you go through.
The web site you cited is going in my favorites list and I would recommend it for all science-minded people. When fundies give a link for their anti-evolutionist views, you should point out this one and then ask, "What is the difference between your beliefs and these? Aren't these just as valid as yours? They are, after all, based on scripture. God didn't say a thing about evolution but he did mention the earth's relationship to the cosmos."

I don't need to look at the site, that is stupid. Earth is not fixed, it rotates on it's axis in a orbit around our sun which is a star, we are located in the Milky Way.
