I have heard of it before but saw it for the first time yesterday at a valley feed store. Is this a good brand? What are its good features? Thanks in advance.

I feed my 3 dogs Canidae. I just bought a bag the other day from my local feedstore and it was only $32.99 for the 40 lb bag.

some of its good features:
-contains human grade meats
-no by-products
-no corn or wheat
-contains probiotics

Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of this food, especially for the price of it. My dogs all have excellent coats and get complemented all the time on how soft or shiny they are. My 1 yr old APBT has also maintained some nice, lean muscle mass on this food. I love that they make an 'all life stages' food, so I can feed it to all my dogs who are very different sizes, breeds, and ages.

I highly recommend this food.

HI!

Yes Canidae is a wonderful food for your dog. It is all natural with no by products of any kind also no wheat or soy or corn.
I feed my 2 Goldens Canidae and have been very happy with their coats and with their all around health.
Cost will varie by location. Here I pay 38 dollars for a 40 pound bag. Hope this helps.

It's an EXCELLENT brand! I've been feeding my dog Canidae for a while now, and his poo is less smelly, his coat looks nicer, he acts and looks healthier, and eats much less than he did on crap supermarket brands.

There's no fillers, its naturally preserved, their first ingredient is meal rather than meat, which means that the food really is meat-based. Dry foods with the first ingredients of meat are usually grain based, as meats are primarily moisture and dry out during processing.

I believe I pay $25 for a 20lb bag or so, and it lasts my dog a month. Smaller bags obviously cost much less. :)

Canidae is a great food.
We pay $32.95 for a 40 lb. bag and it lasts our three dogs about two months. (Our dogs are 55, 75 and 88 lbs.)
I started feeding Shadow and Dio Canidae two years ago (we just adopted Benson in December) and we have had excellent results with it.
They don't eat very much of the food because they digest it better, they maintain their weights (they haven't gotten fat), their coats are soft and shiny and they don't poop very often.
I recommend this food to every one I know that has a dog.

Edit: Marina- What beautiful dogs you have!

Yes, it's a great brand! We used to sell it at my old job, it's full of natural ingredients, nothing processed and fake, it's great!
