How good of a pet is an English Bulldog and how much does the average pup cost?

An English Bulldog is a great pet but you should be cautious that you or others do not make the dog aggressive. They are great with children and are the best bed partners you will ever have (if you can put up with the snoring). They give the BEST sloppy kisses. They require a lot of care (the fold on their nose needs to be cleaned at least every other day and they MUST be protected from the heat.) Always keep inside but if they get used to the temperature, they are great outside also. They can go for walks with you but be sure and take plenty of water. Pretty laid back and lazy. Getting up to get a drink of water and playing with a toy for 10 minutes is a lot for them then they want to go to sleep again. They do get pretty heavy and must be picked up under the stomach to support the body.

The typical cost of a puppy is $1000 - $2500. The higher price is for a show dog. Make sure you know the breeder as they have a tendency to have allergies and eye problems.

If you ever have a bully, you will never want another breed of dog - you either love them or you don't like them.

They make great pets I have one that is about 12 weeks old. I got mine unpapered for $900 after searching for about 2 years. they can often go for $1500 and up.

They are great dogs but a bit expensive to buy. Also they have serious allergy problems that require lots of medications. That get really expensive depending on where you live and how bad they get it.
