The devil gives us the desire for the opposite sex...and the same sex for some and put it upon the flesh. So man can be attracted to more than one person sexualy in there lifetime. People must be married or they will be thrown into hell cuss they desire one anouther like the beast. Ever heard of animal instincts for one another. Marraige is not in heaven cuss the beast was thrown out of heaven. Now that I have spoken about the beast....there has to be anouther way, a way apostle Paul never thought about neither do the rest of u,,,a Godly way to have sex or to desire one another.....but u only desire her...witch means gents u can be around lots of naked woman and u would only have eye's for her, you would not even be tempted, cus u r no longer a slave of the flesh. What do u think..? This is love to me with sex. This can only be done meraculesly. Is this the power of God that is shown to me?

1John2:15-16. 1 Cor 7 all of it. Rev 14:4. talks about not being defiled by a woman.

Actually I think that there is a lot of truth in what you say. However, I don't think that the devil gives us the desire for the opposite sex, because God made woman for man when He saw that Adam needed companionship (Gen 2:18). But I do believe that if we let God choose the mate for us, we would be better off with His choice than we are with most of ours. I do like that you say that marriage isn't in heaven because Satan was thrown out - but are you saying that Heaven had marriages before the devil was thrown out? I do believe that it would take a miracle for there to be true marriage as God designed. (Case in point: Adam had no one else to divorce Eve for and God CHOSE Eve for Adam) I do believe that Paul did see marriage in the context of a Godly way of having sex and marriage. But, he also knew that we are human with lustful thoughts and feelings - thanks to Satan's influence. I think that you might be taking the scriptures you spoke of a little out of context though.

1John 2:15-16 is acknowledging that the world and what it offers as evil, and those that love the world don't love the Father (because He is not of this world). Satan rules this world at this time, so why love the things it offers? Hmm, I wonder if that it's why there is no marriages in Heaven, marriage belongs to this world and this world's ruler?

1 Cor 7 is talking to a pagan-minded people that have converted to Christianity and need to learn that marriage is a good thing if one cannot refrain himself from committing a sin against his body. But that it would is a good thing to remain unmarried so that one could dedicate his entire life to the LORD. Because a married person has to give a large portion to his life to his spouse and family. But Paul is not against marriage.

Rev 14:4 I think that John is referring to being completely uninfluenced by this world's trappings including the sexual persuasions of a woman as to be open to all of the Glory of the LORD. As you can see these people are a "special offering" to the LORD. (I think the Catholic Priest try to follow this teaching, although poorly at times - they shouldn't be defiled by little boys either).

God Bless You

Boy, is your ignorance showing --- in spades.

The devil created desire? No, God created man, and everything that goes with it. Like anything, things can be abused and misused.

Your whole premise is wrong.

And there is no marriage in heaven and no sex in that kingdom.

Matthew 22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

I wish I had the time and space to answer this question in its entirety for you.

For starters, please go to the book of Romans, Chapter 7

Here you will find Paul explaining that our fleshly bodies will still want to sin, no matter how we try and deny the flesh.

Paul states that the things that he wishes to think and do, he does not. The things that he wishes not to do and think, he does. Oh wretched man that I am!

For this very reason, its why a man would not want to be in a room of naked women. His flesh would deny his heart. We are told to flee from this type of temptation.

You may love your wife fully, but in a room full of naked women, your flesh would still deny you. It is the reason that Jesus Christ payed the sin debt for us. We could never keep the law on our own.

Sounds rather confusing. Look, the devil counterfeits, deceives and tries to twist all the good from God. God made man and woman and commanded them to multiply and fill the earth so it is ok, really. They were husband and wife and will be forever.

Proverbs

When one finds a worthy wife, her value is far beyond pearls. Her husband, entrusting his heart to her, has an unfailing prize. She brings him good, and not evil, all the days of her life. She obtains wool and flax and makes cloth with skillful hands.

Like merchant ships, she secures her provisions from afar. She rises while it is still night, and distributes food to her household. She picks out a field to purchase; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard. She is girt about with strength, and sturdy are her arms. She enjoys the success of her dealings; at night her lamp is undimmed. She puts her hands to the distaff, and her fingers ply the spindle. She reaches out her hands to the poor, and extends her arms to the needy. She fears not the snow for her household; all her charges are doubly clothed. She makes her own coverlets; fine linen and purple are her clothing.

Her husband is prominent at the city gates as he sits with the elders of the land. She makes garments and sells them, and stocks the merchants with belts. She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs at the days to come. She opens her mouth in wisdom, and on her tongue is kindly counsel. She watches the conduct of her household, and eats not her food in idleness.

Her children rise up and praise her; her husband, too, extols her: "Many are the women of proven worth, but you have excelled them all." Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting; the woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Give her a reward of her labors, and let her works praise her at the city gates.

we are not told in scripture whether Adam and Eve had sexual desire for each other prior to their fall. Adam did have a desire for a mate based upon loneliness. The WORD tells us to flee from temptation, that GOD will make a way for us to do so. We are also told that to look upon someone in lust is the same as committing adultery with that person-for where our hearts are, there will we follow.

We as human beings are foulable, and the mercy and grace of GOD by the power of the blood of JESUS CHRIST is the only way to remain in the bonds of marriage the way GOD intended it to be.

Rev 14:4 is in reference to the 144,000 total who are chosen from the tribes of Israel, not all of mankind.

1John2:15-16 is in reference to ALL forms of lust of the flesh, not only sexual lusts. We are not to love the world, because we are to come out from amongst them so that we be not partakers of their sins.

see also what is said below concerning marriage and abstaining from meat....sounds a lot like what's happening in today's time to me...

1Ti 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
1Ti 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
1Ti 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
1Ti 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
1Ti 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
1Ti 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained.
1Ti 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.
1Ti 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
1Ti 4:9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation.
1Ti 4:10 For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those that believe.
1Ti 4:11 These things command and teach.
1Ti 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
1Ti 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine.
1Ti 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery.
1Ti 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.
1Ti 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

and in closing...

1Co 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

I would think twice before thinking myself to be more intelligent...for the WORD says that which is lifted up will be abased and that which is abased will be lifted up...also speaks about seeming to be wise they become as fools...

oh yeah, and the fact that the WORD says "touch not mine anointed and do my prophets no harm.." Paul might be dead and gone, but he was still one of GOD's anointed...
