Ok, well i kinda have more then 1 Question. Ok, we got her in WVA when we went for the weekend, her owners knew she was pregnate. She origanally belonged to someone that was living in the house we went to visit, and they we'rent supposed to be living there. The man was a drug dealer, and his girlfriend, was the people living there. She was the girfriend's dog. The dogs name is Dixie. Anyways, they had left the dog there, allready pregnate, with no food or water, or anythingm so when we got there she was due any day. The girlfriend had a deal with the next door neighbors that if Dixie, a full blooded Golden, could breed with the neighbors, Full blooded golden, that the neighbor, would get a girl pup. So that deal was made, but the drug dealer got caught, by the copz, but ran, and the girlfriend went with him, leaving the dog behind. We got up there, and she was due, so we took her home. She had the pups, and all four of them are Jet black with a white marking on there stomach,

and one pup has white on her head. The nighbor doesn't want one now, but she is SURE that dixie, and her dog, got together. The pups are fine, but why are they black? I mean both the parents are full goldens? that was question #1 and question #2 is They are all fine now, about 12 days old, but im not trying to sound gross or anything, but they dont seem to like her front boobs that much, are there just less milk in them, or something?

The likely scenario is this: Dixie was impregnated before she was bred to the other golden. There is no possible way, genetically speaking, for two purebred golden retrievers to have black puppies. The two goldens were probably mated after her peak in estrus, or fertility cycle. That would cause her eggs to not accept the fertilization of the male's semen.

I would just give away the current litter of puppies for pets and retry the mating if the neighbor in WV really wants a pup. However, unless you have an actual AKC or other similar document proving that she is a purebred golden, then I would recommend not breeding her at all. She may be a mixed breed dog, passed off to you as a purebred.

There is no way one or both parents are purebred goldens. Black pups simply cannot happen if both are purebred. It's possible she bred with a purebred golden but also bred with another male dog during the same heat (especially since the previous owners weren't exactly responsible breeders) and the other dog is the stud. Anyway, the father is not a purebred or perhaps Dixie is not a purebred either.

Well, if the dog was in heat and not cared for very good it is very possible that maybe another dog knocked her up as well. Alot of people dont know but a litter of pups can have multiple dads, hince why some of yours came out black. Also, for the pups not likeing the front boobs, i think it really doesnt mean anything, its just personal preference.

There is no way 2 golden retrievers would produce black and white pups. It is not genetically possible.

It is possible however, that before she was bred to the golden, she got out and bred with another dog. Or, they tried to breed her to the golden and it didn't result in pregnancy, then she was bred to another dog.

Or, someone just isn't being truthful.

Good luck with the puppies.

A female dog can have a litter where every pup has a different father. It sounds like your female was bred by more than one male. The black pups are definitely not pure bred goldens. You'll have to wait for them to get bigger to try to guess the parentage.

Not shocking. If the dog was left outside any stray dog could've nailed her. Sorry sweetie, ya got a bunch of mutts to find good homes for. Have fun.

i am not sure, maybe they are not full blooded golden retriever or maybe she got together with banother dog like a border collie. i am not sure what to tell you about the second question maybe you are right. it does not matter whether the puppies are pure golden retrievers or mutts. as long as they as they are healthy everything is fine. good luck

the neighbor could be lying to you bc i don't think it is possible for two golden to breed and have black and white puppies, their father could be a stray that bred to the female, if the puppies were pure breds they would all be golden in color

I am sure those pups aren't full breed. I think maybe the neighbor is mistaken. IDK about the nipple thing but that is my point of view on the dog situation. Hope all goes well.

Thanks for getting the dogs out of that situation. I bet she LOVES you to death for doing that. :)
