Wow, chalice your right, this question makes no sense. What i meant was, is it true taht it takes 3 months for a cat to develop the antibodies to the rabies vaccine...when it's the cats first needle?

I think it takes a couple of weeks. My cat (a house cat) had to get a rabies vaccine to get a passport to be able to return to Europe from our vacation - to leave you don't need it. Once she has had the vaccine we have to have a test for the antibodies and keep the results with her passport. The whole process takes a little over a month, including 10 days to get the test results back.

Without the vaccine, any cat attempting to make rabies antibodies will die before it has a chance to use them, if that's what you're asking.
