Only had lease for 3 months...

Are you sure thats what you have, I haven't heard of one of those since the early 90's. If you are in one, all I can say is Good Luck

There haven't been open ended leases on cars since the 80s. If by chance you have one you are cooked. You wont get out of the lease after three months and you will pay at the end of the lease. I would see if maybe it is a close ended lease. You still wont get out without a lot of cash but you wont get hurt in the end.

Leases have fairly large termination fees if you even can. However, call the bank and see what the payoff is. This is the amount that the bank will charge to essentially buy the car out of the lease. If the car is worth more or around the same number, you can sell the car privately and pay off the bank.
