I am 15 and was having trouble finding a summer job also. Babysitting, as you seem to know, is the easiest job to find. What worked for me was to go onto yellowpages.com and just type in 'stores' and then enter your zip code. This tells you all the stores/shops in your area. Then, as you are reading the list, if you find you one you may want to work at, go to their website. Here you will find contact information, such as emails and phone numbers. At your age, the first question you should ask if what the minimum age is because, depending on where you live, you may be too young. I know in Vermont the minimum working age is 14. Besides that, you can do landscaping type work for neighbors and your parents friends, like mowing the lawn, raking, gardening, etc. Another thing you could do to raise money is set up a dog walking mini-business. Also, if your good at a certain subject in school you could tutor kids. You could also sign up as a counselor at a young kids' camp. If you are looking for a really well paying job, try caddying at a golf course. Make sure you're strong though, cause those bags are heavy. One final thing is, be a paper boy/girl! Thats all I've got. Hope I helped!
