Do you believe in the Old Earth creationism or New Earth? Why?

I lean toward Young Earth, but haven't completely ruled out Old Earth. I think there are some unproven assumptions made by proponents of radiometric dating. Furthermore, molecule-to-man evolution requires vast amounts of increased genetic information that is all but impossible to accomplish naturally.

Neither OE or NE Creationism do I believe.

No proof, no evidence to believe in creationism.

I put it in the same category as if someone were to say Mickey Mouse created the world, complete with past memories and false evidence of evolution. And at least I know he's real - seems like there a lot of photos of Mickey, but not one of god.

Absolutely not. Genesis should not be taken literally, as the makers of the creationist museum have done. It is embarrassing that so many Americans still debate about this, when ALL evidence points away from creationism. Why would you believe in something that has been proven false...

Creationism is completely unsupported by empirical evidence. ALL forms of creationism. So the answer is: None of the above.

No I don't believe in the creation story.

There is so much evidence showing the earth is very very very old (overwhelming evidence). There is also overwhelming evidence for evolution.

I believe in the Creator, therefore I believe in "creationism" properly understood. But I do not believe in simplistic, unauthoritative self-interpretation of the Bible to the point where you have to deny objective reality and scientific proof of reality in order to hang onto your supposedly infallible scriptural self-interpretations. Hmmmm, I wonder if this is why the Bible tells us that Scripture is NOT for self-interpretation??

God created the earth and He did so in six days and rested on the seventh. The earth is about 6,000 years old
