With the signing of Dale Earnhardt Jr., NASCAR’s most prominent free agent, the 2007 Silly Season may have begun in earnest.
On the surface, it would seem that putting Earnhardt Jr. under contract ended negotiations. But wait. Now Kyle Busch is available. Greg Biffle isn’t signed beyond 2008. A host of other drivers are in contract-signing years as well. What happens now?
Team owners must be dying to get their hands on Busch. Even if he’s made his future decision, he’s probably still hearing a pitch or two. He’s 22, talented and capable of winning on a weekly basis. He’s unquestionably future championship material.

So what does his availability do?

And what about the others? Behind the scenes, phones are probably ringing off the hook.

So take heart gossip-lovers. Earnhardt Jr. may have made his decision, but the real game is about to begin.

Who will be next?

I don't know the contract situations with the Evernham drivers but I bet Kasey Kahne is being courted. Greg Biffle is under contract through next year and said he WILL be there in 2008, but that could just be lip service (he didn't look or sound overly convincing). Precedence was established a couple of years ago and last year with people announcing they are going to another team next year but then end up there a few weeks later. Once these things start it has a way of snowballing and I am wondering about a couple of other drivers. Dale Jarrett will probably be done before the end of the year. Is JJ Yeley totally safe? Who will be the extra drivers at RCR and Penske with indications that they are adding teams? Who might Ginn try to get as their driver to build a franchise around? Another big question is what will be the involvement of Dodge in NASCAR after the sale is final? I agree the silly season started much earlier, probably due to Jr's announcement a month ago. It will be fun to see how it all plays out.

Are you that excited over Kyle Busch? Please girl....
When Kyle decides where he's going, you will find out about it. Until then, calm down about it.
And Greg Biffle isn't going to worry about where he's going until next yr. He's just concentrating on doing good the remainder of the year and finding a full time sponser.

this is the only element left for the close-up Rush Limbaugh open minded unfastened speech crowd. Liberals won't be in a position to compete in an open area of unfastened suggestions. frequently, they only get mad and contact you names, yet this bunch of gutless politicians, who via ways have all the exposure they choose, which comprise unfettered use of the post workplace, decide to bypass legislations geared in direction of shutting down unfastened speech. Why? as a results of fact they're looniness is being uncovered. no longer via human beings on the Left, yet via communicate radio from the remarkable. Liberals might desire to be lifeless set in contrast. communicate radio is as informative as any information shows on T.V. or in newspapers. on the remarkable of the hour you get 5 minutes of national information. In my area, this is placed out via CBS. You do have thoughts like: Newpapers and information magazine that have had serious plagerism going ons. (linked Press might have an entire group committed to publishing retractions. you be attentive to those that take place on internet site B27.) T.V. information: CBS ought to constantly rehire the maples/quite liars. (BTW, appropriate in the previous an election. How conveniant.) Michael Moore: propaganda. the place are Liberals challenged? exterior of communicate radio, no the place. So each thing on the radio and on T.V. isn't actual. exciting. i assume i'm going to might desire to end listening and gazing baseball, information, cooking shows. this is all pretend. And all communicate coach hosts are morons, and every physique who listens to communicate radio is a dumb fool. those solutions had something to do including your question? If this passes, will all persons conservatives might desire to get lower back alley radio doses!
