I know I do now..it was the strangest thing. I haven't prayed in a while, so last night I gave up some time to pray *especially* to the guardian angels. I just had an urge to.
I woke up this morning and heard that my little brother got hit by a car, but miraculously he wasnt hurt..even though the impact of the truck was very large. I remember praying last night and it made me realize that we all have an angel watching over us 0:)

Yes, I do. My Guardian Angel has helped me so many times. Things happen and we don't realize it. We never think 'what would have happened if I had left one minute earlier (or later)': 'I would have died if I had been in time to take that airplane. The traffic jam made me arrive late to the airport'.
'How come there was hardly any traffic when I took my sick mom to the hospital and they could save her... and when I went to try to find a parking place the traffic was terrible and I spent a long time getting out of there'.

These things have happened to me. And also some others that don't seem so important.. just little things that we take for granted but if they didn't happen we'd feel very miserable.

Yes, I do believe I have a Guardian Angel, and I thank him everyday.

Yes I do for sure.
Matthew 18:10 states, "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven." In the context, "these little ones" could either apply to those who believe in Him (v. 6) or it could refer to the little children (vv. 3-5). This is the key passage when the discussion of guardian angels comes up. There is no doubt that good angels help protect (Daniel 6:20-23; 2 Kings 6:13-17), reveal information (Acts 7:52-53; Luke 1:11-20), guide (Matthew 1:20-21; Acts 8:26), provide for (Genesis 21-17-20; 1 Kings 19:5-7), and minister to believers in general (Hebrews 1:14). There are so many more instances of these in Scripture.

I'm so glad your brother wasn't hurt!

I don't believe in Guardian Angels though.

I'm not sure that I believe in "angels" with white wings watching over us... but I do believe that I have felt the presence of my deceased mother. I don't mean in a spooky, ghost way... I just mean that I have felt her spirit, or her energy, and knew that she was with me. Now whether this "with me" is just in my mind, or my heart, I don't know. And whether she has the power to stop bad things from happening, I don't know. I just know it gives me peace.
So glad your brother is OK.

Sadly this doesn't explain why Joe Blow gets killed in a car wreck after his wife prayed for him to have a safe trip home from work. Is it fair to assume some good people have guardian angels when millions of good people suffer tragedy everyday?
