You might not want to name it right away. When we got our cat, I named her Stella because I thought it was a pretty name for her, but I never ended up calling her that. My boyfriend kept calling her 'Peanut,' and eventually, it stuck. Wait a few days or a week, and get a feel for what his/her personallity is like. That's how my kitty Squirrel got her name! Like Peanut, there are a ton of cute nicknames that can be cool cat names, so just see what you end up calling it naturally.

Ruby is a nice name for a boy or girl kitten, and goes with Diamond. Congratulations on you new kitten. Best Wishes!
