In Revelation, the last book of the Bible, God promises us a new Heaven and a new Earth. What we refer to as "global warming" has been a cyclical occurence since the beginning of earth's history. Back in the 70's, the problem was "global cooling", and we were looking for the next ice age.

There is NO global warming. It's just like in the 70's when they talked about global freezing and in 1999 when they talked about Y2K. If we were having global warming then why was 3/4 of the country in a long deep freeze all winter and most of the spring? Why are most parts of the US having lower than normal temperatures? Greenland got it's name because when the Vikings were there it was covered with vegetation. As for the ice caps, when the Larson Ice Shelf was adrift they said water levels woudl rise by 3 inches, well it never happened!

If God will not destroy the world then Nature surely will because nothing in this Universe lasts forever....except maybe God. If all those ice caps melt will there be room in the boat for me? Actually, in all seriousness, there is not enough water locked in the icecaps to completely flood the Earth but the cities on coastlines of the world will be in DEEP trouble.

How about you don't depend on God and promises written by men. If you're afraid of global warming, then do something about it. If you don't know what to do, then research it. You can't always rely on God, I tried that once and now I'm an atheist. Also, global warming IS REAL. So don't be an ignorant fool and say that it is not.

Revelation 21 speaks of a new heavens and a new earth that God will bring about. This is not meaning an entirely new heavens and earth, but rather renewed under the direction of his Kingdom government. He created the earth, the universe, etc. He certainly has the power to heal it. Man has good intentions; but God will make it happen.

Believe it or not. :)

The Bible tells us that there will be a new heaven and a new Earth, which means that He will deal with Earth's problems (Revelations 21:1-2).

You assume that the global warming is actually a problem and not just another cycle that the earth goes through. If you look up historical temps you will see that the earth goes through normal warming and cooling cycles.

Oh that's easy... God is going to kill us all in the Rapture before the ice caps melt - thus saving us from being drowned! Isn't His mercy glorious?
