OK..well first of all...it's not going to happen in 2012...because in the Bible it states we will not know when Jesus comes back...(The Rapture.) And also in the Bible it says the Anti-Christ is AFTER The Rapture takes place...and beside all kinds of things are suppose to happen before The Rapture takes place and it will take well over 5 years for these prophecies to come true...but what does scare me is that in the Bible it says he will return the generation that Israel becomes a nation..well it has been a nation for almost 50 years now...but it did not specify how long a generation is...these days it's about 30 yrs...back in the old days it was 50 yrs..and back in B.C. times it was 800 - 900 years. So the chances of the Anti-Christ coming in 2012 is slim to none. But by the way there are some fake Anti- Christ out there already...Hitler was an Anti-Christ..but he wasn't THE Anti-Christ..so anyway if you want more info..just e-mail i would be happy to tell you more.

LOL!!!!!

Jesus, that was a good one! No offence to yourself, but the whole 2012 thing cracks me up!

Apparently it's started by the Mayans, who provided the world with a calendar that would end in 2012. They assumed that since they would be long gone by then, people will have stopped counting so it wouldn't be any use calculating that calendar any further.

Sadly enough, some New Agers found this calendar and figured the Mayans must have foreseen doom and therefore stopped counting.

That's what started all the madness. Now people think the world will end, the antichrist will rise, jesus will come back, we will reach a new common consciousness, the world will become heaven on earth, all evil will have vanished - all in 2012. Take your pick.

Anyway, when that happens, I'll be in the front row, laughing my ar$e off :)

The Mayans believed it was the end of the world. I don't know anyone personally who believes that the Antichrist will come in 2012, but with all the people out there trying to figure it out, (and they never will).

Im sure someone has a formula that they used to get that number. Not a big deal.

Doesn't really matter, because believers won't be here to experience the antichrist. If people are scared of 2012, they might want to get right with God in 2007 so that they don't have to worry.

Doesn't matter. In 2012, they will make up something else. And somehow interpret that as to mean something else. It will be a continuous line of cop-outs. They will probably say. "2012 in our time is different then in at that time and it will be another million years from now".And for some reason. Just that generation are only special enough to see the Antichrist.. Some reason, through all the generations that came and gone were special and were not give this priviledge too see the antichrist .. Seems anfair to me that only one generation of people are going to witness it.

2012 has nothing to do with the rise of the antichrist, it has to do with the end of the Mayan Calendar, and to some that supposedly means the end of the world or the end of time.

2012 is when the Aztec (edit Myan)callendar ends.

tu understand any signifigance of this you have tu understand the Aztec (edit Myan) culture. and the simple fact that their calendar ends does not mean that they predicted the end of the earth.

all it means is that it is the end of a phase. to the Aztec (edit myan) everything ran in cycles, even time. the end of one cycle is simply the beginning of another. they did not make another calendar for the same reason that none of us have calendars for the year 2009. it simply is not yet needed.

the Hopi Indians do predict that the end of thet cycle of time may bring the beginnings of many changes to this world. and many Native Americans believe that we can see the changes beginning even today(more powerful storms, natural disasters).

but in no means is it any ancient prediction of the end of time.

that is an Abrihamic belief that is shared between Jew,Christian, and Muslims. and had been inserted into every end for the last 1500 years.

remember the panic of the year 2000.

that was a repeat of the last melinium change. and the turning of most centuries.

people simply want something to be scared of to keep themselves in line.

**************************

sorry for any confusion, it is the Myan callendar.

i have Aztec on the brain as i am planning a trip to see some of the Aztec Pyramids.

Its the new MayanChristians, they just came out. But you'll have to be quick as they will be taking off with space aliens in 2012.

They got tired of all the wrong dates for the end of the world in their bible so have turned to another religion altogether.

Fascinating!

Same reason that they though he would rise in year 30, 60, 90, 100, 365, 375, 500, . . . .

And all the other hundreds of end of the world predictions that have all totally failed to come true.

Well noone can possibly no the true day or time, Thats just because that is the year Mayans predicted the world will end, and since its getting near you will hear alot of people say that, which makes the whole christian community look bad.
