I've just started the book Lolita, inwhich a grown man is infatuated with the characteristics of little girls (preferably between the ages of 9 and 14.) He refers to these girls as nymphets, something I didn't even recognize as disturbing until I finished a third of the book.
Is this a response to the Electra complex or something like an inverted Oedipus complex?

i think it may have to do with a power/ego and insecurity thing.
you should check out the life of Charlie Chaplin, he really robbed the cradle and all his marriages makes Liz Taylor look like nothing.

Well, most white girls are attracted to white guys and most black girls are attracted to black guys. But there are exceptions. An African-American poet Jamison Fowler, 33, said, 'What is race between true love? If there were a wall between the blacks and the whites, the asians and the hispanics, the iraqis and the indians, i know naught. Though maybe I have crossed through that wall, in a way to save my beloved Carolina from racism.' What Fowler means in his poem 'What is race between true love?' is that there's no reason why it's wrong to like somebody who is not of your race, and he mentions his beloved Carolina (Carolina Stanley, who i saw on Fowler's website she's his white girlfriend) and is trying to say that race will not ever effect their relationship. so do u get my point? i mean it's a bit odd and i don't really get this thing most ppl like ppl of their own race but whatever there is nothing wrong with liking black guys i think fowler is a great modern poet

Nothing complicated girl. There are just some guys in the world who are evil scum. So many say these men cannot be cured. There's a cure all right. Anytime we catch some freak messing with a little girl between the ages of 9 to 14 they automatically get the death penalty. To be carried out as soon as possible.

I have no idea of any grown man that would be attracted to a little girl. Thats why I don't understand why women these days strive to be a size 0. Its unnatural for a woman to be that size.

I consider myself well a sexual person and somewhat of a perv. but I would NEVER be attracted to anyone under 21 years of age

I think they are extremely immature and feel threatened by adult women, so they subconciously feel that only an immature girl will be able to respect them and make them feel in control.
