It is a wonderful feeling! I have seen miracles in my life and in the lives of loved ones so I know prayer works. I have a brother who went into the hospital at the age of 1 and almost didn't make it out alive. He was not supposed to live past the age of 3 due to a rare disease. He is now 24. This is just the beginning of answered prayers!

being prayed for is nice...

but accomplishing this is better:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

Only with Our Creator's Love and Peace will we be Truly Free!

To be honest, it depends on who says it.

I believe that God hears all prayers and if they ask something that is good from his point of view, he will do it.

However, if mean or spiteful people suddenly put on spiritual airs and tell me that they "will pray" for me, I can't help cringing.

Also, there is the strange "I will pray for you" that actually means
"you are so lost and ignorant, but I want to tell you in a way you cannot defend yourself"
or
"I just lost the argument, but I won't let you have your triumph" ;
;-) hehe

Annoyed, like when a child is telling you all about their imaginary friend, and you know their intentions are fine but it is such a tedious waste of time.

depends on the prayer.

if they are simply praying for my well being, then i am happy that someone cares.

if they are praying that theig god comes and saves my heathen soul, and that the man Jesus enters my life to save me from some pretend damnation.

then i am offended. i see these type fo prayers just as i see a Love Spell. a direct interference of my free will. and a violation of my right to live my own life.

Prayer is more for the person praying than for the person being prayed for. My mom prays for me, even though I'm an atheist, and if it makes her feel better, more power to her.

Personally, though, it's a little creepy to me. Like, how would you feel if I prayed to my purple unicorn who has pink-polka dots for you?

I'm amazed that someone cares for me that much that they would pray for me. It is an awesome feeling.

While I'm not religious, I still feel good when someone prays for me; no matter how mis-guided religion is, prayer still generates a good energy.

I've had different reactions to this. Sometimes it is appreciated and other times it feels intrusive. I guess it depends on how I feel about the situation for which they were praying. Either way, I do believe it can't hurt especially if their intentions were good.
