Guys Only, Please: My boyfriend wants to break up with me because he says I am too needy.?

Question

We are in a long distance relationship. When I call to talk to him and he is busy or spending time with others, I sometimes get frustrated. He says I am being selfish. All I want to do is talk to him. What should I do? I want to try to salvage the relationship, but I won't be a pushover and accept less, especially since all we can do is talk (we only see each other once every 5 months.)

Ok, let me open this up to girls now...some of these guys are really dumb.

I know what thats like, my boyfriend is in the military, so we are also in a long distance realtionship and only get to see eachother every couple of months. but you need to give him some time to be with his friends. yes i know that all you want to do is talk to him, i know what that is like, but he needs some time with his guy friends too. it would b the same situation if you lived close to one another. sometimes guys just need time with the guys. he's not trying to upset you. and when he's hanging out with his friends, why dont you call up some of your friends and go out instead of waiting at home alone waiting for him to call you? and if he calls you while you are out, tell him you'll call him back. if he can do that to you, then you can do that to him as well. it'll let him know what it feels like and maybe he'll understand how you feel in the situation and hopefully try and work on being better about it.

Sounds like there's a difference of opinion here. If you only see each other every 5 months anyway, maybe you should look into finding a guy who lives closer to you?

he s obviously not too into u because if he s so busy to talk then u r not a priority
i understand sometime a person may be busy but if its all the time then there s a problem

now if the case is that he makes himself busy to not talk is because u made him do that

u need to think to ur self and figure out what is it about u that may have cuz him to do this

maybe u talk to much, maybe u complain too much, maybe u ask him too many questions etc

hi thats the problem wiv present guys,its a systematic way of getting rid of you,be careful coz he doesnt believe in that 5months you meet ,you will be alone,if you in a open relashion well he should knw you by now.but his mates are pushing him too.not to believe you can wait for him and him alone in 5months.,make it clear to him that it has to stop or you moving on,if he cares he will change if nothing happens its a signal for you ,you cant do more apart from moving on really.

well, the way i see it its his fault. you should break up with him. tell him to relax. you only live life once. tell him he tries too hard and he needs to spend more time with you. hes the one who is ruining your relationship.
