The Lord goes where you call him. I would not be offended as long as they conducted their services within reasonable hours and cared about where and how they parked.

I would attend a church service at a home as readily as I would attend a church service in a public church building. The church is the body of Christ...where his people gather, not the building he is worshiped in. Also, contrary to what someone else stated, larger churches do not exist only to pass the collection plate. They need funds to keep the church running and to provide in needed areas. Now some may abuse that, but it isn't the main aim of the church.

I wouldnt be offended unless they did it at some crazy hour like midnight, when I was trying to sleep. And as for attending a church that isnt in a mainstream church, I have been to a few churches like that. I kinda like them, they are alot smaller, and you get to know each other on more of a personal level.

I am not even going to point out the obvious typos....GOD cannot be held captive in traditional Church buildings. HE is everywhere. Some of the strongest Churches in the world were started in private homes. Does hearing people praise GOD bother you or something?

I have been to services that are held in homes dozens of times. It makes things more intimate. It doesn't have to be at a church building. It says in the bible if there is only three people worshiping there is God with them.

If people wanted to have a church service at home--all the power to them--that's part of the free-will we were given. Sure I'd attend--as long as it wasn't some sort of cult or evil thing.

I wouldn't attend church because I am an atheist, but I also wouldn't be offended by a church next door to me.

Not offended by services next door, but possibly irritated by noise or traffic or litter.
I would be offended if it's one of those denominations that urge people to spread the word aggressively and the congregation daily streamed out of the church to my front door.

Home churches are one of the largest growing means of church today. People next door doing church is better than having them doing drugs...

Due to the persecution by the jews and romans, the first churches were all home churches. In fact, in some parts of the world, home churches are still the norm.
