Rgrace seems to be the only one (besides me) who caught the sarcasm dripping off of your question.
"Gastronomic delights of a Big Mac"
"Eating less than 4000 calories per day"
C'mon, people...pay attention.
Now..to actually answer your question...I agree totally.
Those people are so dumb they don't know how great they would have it if they just let us shove our lifestyle, culture (or lack thereof) and morality (or lack thereof) down their throats.
We should pull all of our "well-equipped" troops out of there and let them suffer in a country without a Taco Bell on every other street corner.

Answer these few questions to learn why the Iraqis are ungrateful.
Since we invaded, how many innocent (not connected to terrorism) Iraqis have US troops killed, either purposely or accidentally?
Since we invaded, how many McDonalds, or other restaurants, have US personnel built?
US troops have given the Iraqis much more death and destruction, than anything positive. You can see that, right?

Don't think they were ungrateful.
Just blunders and slip-ups with human errors with communication problems.
Just that they got themselves betrayed by Judas with ghostly stories of failures and horrors of the past as glory of success.
Without realising the betrayal of Judas.
With the blind in blindly following the blind.
Luke 6.39-40
While Humpty Dumpty sat on the high wall.
Watching them living in misery out there with the ghostly stories of failures and horrors of the past.
Luke 9.25
The blunders and slip-ups with human errors created back in the past centuries by the dead Mummy over the loss of the missing x-files that was lost with time living in misery at loss and stranded out there.
Luke 10.24

Yeah, what kind of *sputter* *fume* neanderthals ARE they anyway? Refusing to embrace McDonalds and Ford and Starbucks and Banana Republic and diamond-studded collars for their chihuahuas?!? ... the fact that their civilization pretty much dates back to the dawn of mankind and that they've gotten by just fine despite that ... that ... that *scoff* *stomp* heathen ideology, it matters not a lick! ... well, it's just that ... I mean ... but ... and ... *bluster* *spittle* *rage* HOW DARE THEY?! They'll see the light, I'm sure. The light of flashbang grenades and bunkerbusters if I have MY way. Dammit!
Happy Opposite Day!

Democracy must be earned and maintained, not handed out like Halloween candy. A society cannot appreciate the value of Democracy having never fought for it personally. As a result, we're just giving them the freedom to oppress one another.

What gives us the right to force democracy on anyone else? We need to take care of this country before we go trying to stick our noses into someone else's business.
