I guess I am an old school Wiccan, as I believe in the Law of Return, but not the idea that stuff comes back 3, or 7 or ten times.
Most Wiccans who believe that got it from NECTW, but don't even know who NECTW is....rofl.

Is this the law that says what you do will come back to you threefold? If so, I believe the general meaning of it; Catholic though, not wiccan.

It sounds nice, but I do not believe there exists any such universal law that whatever you send out into the universe, be it good or ill, it will return to you threefold. I just don't believe that represents reality. Good is not always rewarded and evil punished. That doesn't depress me, though; it challenges me, for I know that the only justice that exists is human justice. So, rather than believe in magic or karma, I support my neighborhood watch program and local law enforcement.

There are numerous distinctive faculties of concept on the guideline of three. some Wiccans and Pagans can help be attentive to in no uncertain words that it’s bunk, and that the Threefold regulation isn't a regulation in any respect, yet basically a handbook used to maintain human beings on the without delay and narrow. different communities swear via it.

Yes, and I have occasionally seen it slap others around far more than just threefold, not sure it's specifically 3 times over, but what goes around comes around....... Pagan, not specifically Wiccan...

Not Wiccan, and I'm with Labgrrl on this one.. I get my cues from nature.. if I plant a seed in the ground, I don't just get three seeds worth of plant back.. I get a plant that produces tons of seeds, depending on the soil condition, weather, sunlight, etc.. sometimes I get no plant at all..again, due to those conditions or the viability of the seed.
Such is the way it is with what we send out into the world.. sometimes the seeds bear tons of fruit, sometimes, they yield a small harvest, and sometimes, nothing at all.
That makes much more sense to me than some exact number created by man. The world is too chaotic and too much is unknown for us to make a claim like that.

I am a Christian and I believe in it. It makes sense to me. Karma seems to play a role in my life. I often times reap what I sow. Good or bad it tends to come back to me threefold.

I do but I'm not wiccan. I trust in karma to take care of people far better than I can.
