Out of 31 Aswers there were:
16 Non Belivers
15 Believers (In a God or Religion)
There were lots of good answers but the one I liked the most was
Hedgewitch's
"Iam Pagan". Yes I believe in a Creator God. I like to answer questions about my beliefs for anyone who is interested and I try to take a bit of the fear factor out of people's understanding of God. "
I did not like it because of her religion. I liked it because I thought she had a lot of respect for people with religions other than her own.
So according to the poll its a half and half enviroment. With those odds would it ever be possible to try and discuss things between each group without offfending the other even if you dont have the same view?
Just Wondering because I dont see where hate and religion should ever go together if we are all in here about religion or the lack of religion?
Thanks for everybody's help

Well I'm not religious , but i dont judge or hate people that do believe. If we all respected each other and stoped trying to convert or prove stuff then maybe er could all just get along.

18, another atheist.
Religion and hatred go hand-in-hand. Religion doesn't have any facts to draw people, so it uses emotion instead. It uses various tactics to encourage group binding while at the same time segregating them from those outside the religion. It builds on our natural tendency towards compassion for those in the group and enmity for those outside of it.
Luckily, people are generally decent and compasisonate towards each other, because we can identify as together in humanity, no matter what religion tries to foist on us. You'll find that the most compassionate and giving people have more of a humanistic worldview, no matter what their superstitious beliefs are.

in basic terms what number questions about reality and faith interior the superb 2 hours? appears like the adult adult males indexed decrease than are starting up new era of the religion and the reality. appears like many of the solutions are keeping apart faith and reality. non-believers declare that the 'reality' is there aren't any God and those who be counted on God is asserted to have 'faith'. yet as i visit work out it, we ought to first search for for the reality (which one is sweet, it truly is genuine, blablabla), after we've got here around the reality we embraced it as our faith...uncomplicated.

You're right. There should not be any rivalry between people because they have different religious views. NO FAITH IS BETTER THAN ANOTHER, so some people just need to get over that.

I don't see where hate fits either, but no one likes being told they are wrong and that's what's going on for both sides.
