I answered your other question about autism. And just wanted to say, I am agnostic (formerly Christian) and while I am no longer religious in the least, it is absolutely reprehensible that someone reported you for that. Absolutely horrible. I can honestly say that is not typical of agnostics or atheists.
There are some REAL wackos on Yahoo! Answers, be careful!
EDIT: And it's most likely a troll that flagged your question, NOT the staff at Yahoo Answers. They've been deleting questions that people flag without even looking at them. It's really dumb but it's not really the fault of the staff of Yahoo! Answers.

So that I could see this one and give you some information.
Prayers isnt what you need.
Things like PECs and ABA therapy are.
Unlike prayer ABA is actually reccommended by the Surgeon General, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the National Research Council, to name a few.
Also I guess I could throw in there that early intervention is the key.
So instead of praying that your son get better I hope you dont mind if I pray for a couple of other things. I pray that you find the knowledge you need to help your son this includes understanding that while autism if a difficult diagnosis to understand and work with it sure has its fair share of wonderful surprises.
I also pray and pray hard that you have resources in your area that can help you and get the needed treatment your son not only needs but deserves. I also pray that you find good support groups envoloving other parents because I know for as much as I think I know about autism it is parents who are the experts!
I pray that if these resources are not availiable you either A fight for them in your area or B move somewhere that has them.
I pray that you start reading now on the Americans with Disabilities act and go to Wrightslaw.com an educate yourself on the rights of your child as far as his education.
Dont mistake this as condescending in any way cause thats not what I am aiming for. I just know that maybe prayer can work a little but action is the key!

I've seen it said in a few answers that Yahoo is deleting prayer requests.
Isn't a prayer request supposed to be in R&S?
Some people on here go off on rampages and report anyone who is not of the same belief as them. How immature!!!

chuck, you're full of it.
they are deleting all prayer requests.
I'm an atheist and don't believe in prayer, but I don't see the harm. I just pass by those questions (usually)
Y-Nazis, why not have a subheading under R&S for such questions? or perhaps we should all inform your advertisers that you are turning away potential site traffic...I'm sure they'd be interested in that information.
I'm sorry to hear about your son. try to find a local or online support group. (search yahoo groups, for one). Information and the help of others will be a comfort and of great value to you.
------------------------------------------------------
Everyone remember to send Debra M whatever form of goodwill (prayer, meditation, good thoughts) is your preference.
the Y-nazis can't stop us.

Atheist here. I don't think any of my peers would report a simple prayer request. We may not believe in any gods, but that doesn't mean we're inhumane. Yahoo's been deleting anything that doesn't follow their guidelines to the letter, especially today. Sorry to hear about your son. Best Wishes....

It was probably reported by some nitwit who doesn't believe in prayer. Now Y/A will delete a question like yours, but I have reported many many questions and answers for obscenity and bad language and those never get deleted. I believe some of the Y/A higher ups might be atheist or something.

Probably some phoney claimed to be offended. I would be glad to pray for you baby. And yes a request is a question. Example wll you come over for a barbecue tonight? = question. No I I don't like barbecued food = answer. What doesn't even make sense is how someone could be offended by someone praying to someone they claim they don't even believe exists. Perhaps their actions are betraying them.

A prayer request is not a question. This isn't even particularly a spiritual question so it's probably going to get deleted as well. Just the same, sorry to hear about your boy.

Shameful. I will gladly pray for your little boy, and I will request a Prayer Section be added right now.

It happens all the time. I just got violated for telling People Debra M was out of her coma.
I did it with a religious question too.
Don't think this just happens to Christians, I have a box full of violations.
