Im only 18 and I need a car cause I cant do **** without one even thhough my friends have one I think I should to cause its the end of my senior year I asked my mom if she would help me and she said if i help my self and I would ask my dad but Im not sure how help thanks

You need money, possibly a co-signer (if you don't have credit yet), 2 recent paystubs, a drivers license and proof of insurance to be able to drive the car off the lot.

I would recommend having some with you when you do decide to buy a car. I would recommend first looking in a paper and then looking at a used car lot. most people need to have credit in order to go to a car lot. You should go and get a job first because car salesmen usually look at steady employment. Talk to your parents about you handing over payment to them for the car. Get steady first. Then maybe they will help you out.

You need to show you can pay for at least part of the expense of buying, maintaining and insuring the car. In other words, you need a job. You also need a license, and your parent's trust that you are a safe driver.

Find away to earn some money. Maybe you can get a summer job. Your mom said she'd help if you helped yourself. Perhaps she'd match you dollar for dollar ( you save $500, she'll give you $500). Try it, the worst she'd say is "no".

find urself a job first cuz ur at the age where u have to do things on ur own.....n just becuz ur friends have a car doesnt mean u need one to fit in....u just know u need one cuz u need to get around
