Well, I'm 26 and will be having my first in September. Even though it's a good thing, I still don't feel like I am ready, but then again, are you ever REALLY ready for everything involved with raising a child? I'll be completely honest with you. . . I'm scared to death. I'm scared of every part of having a baby, from birth to 18 years old. I don't want to scare or discourage you but these are my feelings. I know I will probably feel different when I get to hold her.

I was 20 with my first, 23 with my second, and 29 with my last. With the first two I was to young. Late 20's is the best time to start a family. However I have loved every minute with my kids no matter the age.

I'm expecting my first now at 25.

I don't know if there is one perfect age, when you're planing a pregnancy, you try to find some delicate balance between being young enough so that your body can bounce back, and so you can chase after the kids, but old enough that you're in a stable life.

I know the physical aspects of pregnancy would be easier if I were a bit younger, and I know the financial aspects would be easier if I were a bit older, but I feel pretty good about the balance we made in between.

I'm 25 and my husband is 31.
We are expecting our first child any time now!

We are both anxious, excited and a bit nervous.
I worry about how good of a mother I will be, but I feel mostly ready at my age.

I was 19 when I had my daughter. 3 months later came my birthday! I am 22 now and my daughter is going on 3 years in December! I have no regrets and am in the place I want to be in life.

My husband and I tried for a year before having our first at 26. I had my second at 27 and my third at 29. I'm 30 now, and very busy! But I wouldn't change it for anything. They are the best things in my life!

I was 17 when I got pregnant, 18 when I had my first, and 19 when I had my second. I was young, and single. I felt alone, but I also felt confident in my abilities to be a good mother, reguardless of my age.

I was 19 when I had my son. I thought my life was over when I found out at the age of 18 that I was expecting. Everything turned out well and he makes my life soo much better.
