my very dear friend just told me that his brother's wife gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Zoe. but as they cut the umbilical cord, a blood clot loosened, killing the newborn instantly. they have a 2 yr old at home. can you please please send some positive energy/prayers/good thoughts or whatever to them? thanks

No. It would be a waste of my time. Prayer is useless. Even if there was a god, he wouldn't help people based on what amounts to a popularity poll.

The death is tragic, but if you really want to help them. Spend your time with the family instead of trying to gather a petition to have God change his "perfect plan". I'm sure they could use some friendship as they get through their loss.

My heart goes out to them. The lose of a child is tragic. Even worse when it's not expected. Please tell your family I wish them the very best at this hour of tragedy. Zoe is with God, and she came to bless your family with a special kind of grace only a child can bring. God bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.

Ye Gods! They have my prayers, my healing energies, and my well wishes. I went through labor with my best friend two weeks ago, I can only imagine going through all of that like she did, and then seeing the baby die before your eyes!! My deepest sympethies

That's awful! I cannot imagine the emotions going from absolute joy to horror and grief in an instant on the day you should be the happiest in your life. What a terrible blow for them. Please send my condolences. Not that it will mean much to them but still . . .

That is so terrible. I can't imagine the pain of losing a child, especially at a time such as that. My thoughts are with them.

Absolutely. I will pray for your friend's family. God knows all about it and is in control. I pray that God will send comfort to that mother and father.
