My tutor always said
"If anyone makes fun of you for being a nerd or if they have a problem with you studying all the time, just remeber this, one day when you're driving your BMW M5 around town and you see this moron who used to tease you, walking to work as a waiter at mcdonalds, just wave."

Its pretty good advice. He is basically saying that high school only lasts four years, don't let it dictate your life. So many people are willing to throw their lives down the toilet to be popular, don't be one of those people.

There is no such thing as a nerd. 50 years ago I used to go to the Library 3 times a week. Hobby, Electronics etc. Is Bill Gates a nerd? I now have a loving family, two daughters, four
grandchildren, go
to Blackpool as often as possible and make that beautiful town what I want it to be. High class-
The Tower and it's fantastic WURLITZER-the Stanley park-
the shopping centre-north pier-the Opera house -I could go on, but the point I am trying to make is that YOU are YOU.
Just enjoy life and stop catagorising yuorself.

Great advice, nothing like putting others down to make yourself feel better! You should learnt o feel better about yourself being a "nerd" if you think it's a bad thing, not make fun of those that end up at Mcdonalds, you can be smart and still work there, whatever happened to being nice?

Yeah, and the only real decision you should make is, should I wave with one finger or two?!

But then again, what's wrong with working at McDonald's? Also, where I live, we don't have waiters either (not unless you count Grill Parking as waiter service! lol)
