that's what gets the believers in trouble : thinking !!!

besides thinking, believing is another issue with the believers...but.................
they have problems proving their own religious beliefs...

makes sense, right ???

Here's the Solution for the believers and religion:

Create a Private, Personal, Direct, Divine Relationship with Our Creator and save Your Soul from religion's and atheist's beliefs and start Your journey back home, to Heaven.

<<<<<<< UnConditional Love is the only answer >>>>>>>

Love and Believe in Our Creator;
Love and Believe in Yourself.

You have a lot of bottled-up anger, don't you?

Even so, I respect your question and will tell you that at the time of HIs departure, Jesus promised His disciples that he would return(John 21:22) . It was later referenced again in the Book of Revelations, but the direct quote came in:

John 21:22
Jesus answered, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me." 23Because of this, the rumor spread among the brothers that this disciple would not die. But Jesus did not say that he would not die; he only said, "If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you?"

24This is the disciple who testifies to these things and who wrote them down. We know that his testimony is true.

Revelations 22: 12
"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. 13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

He forgot his car keys?

Seriously though, "good" is open to interpretation, but you might want to crack that bible. (Book of Daniel.[2] Daniel 7:13-14 refers to a 'human one' "who will come on the clouds in 'glory' and in 'his kingdom' and be given dominion to establish the kingdom of God on earth"). Also check the Gospel of John.

Otherwise the link below goes into much greater detail about Jesus' second coming.

The bible tells us that Jesus will return. We don't know exactly when however, because the bible says only God knows the day. Jesus did tell us what the sign of the times were though...and looking around this world.....I can see the things He was speaking of!

They're all schizophrenic?

**edit**

*He* sounds a bit like myself. I always say I'll come around, but never come around to do so. And in all fairness, he's kept us all waiting for a long time, now hasn't he?

And Judgement day has been coming soon for about the same amount of time Jesus has been saying he'll come back... which is nearly 2000 years and in my opinion, that's not *soon* anymore.

All questions asked like this are answered in the same way. Christians believe the Bible. The Bible specifically states that He is coming back.

dd: not one word of Bible prophecy has failed yet.

So, I've got better reason to trust in Jesus return than I have that I will make it home from a visit to the hospital.

because he said so and if you believe on him and the bible as the word of God then you should believe what he said.
this is the generation he spoke of as "the last" generation.

"you shall see signs of the End of the age..earthquakes..famines..pestilence..wars and rumors of wars etc...but the END IS NOT YET!!! NOW LEARN A Parable of the fig tree..when it puts forth leaves you KNOW That summer/harvest is Nigh, THIS GENERATION SHALL NOT PASS TIL ALL BE FULFILLED" ...
israel is the fig tree and it was planted in 1948. tick tock says the prophecy clock.
