I feel most men start feeling the need to settle down around 28...but for the wrong reasons...it's not because they want to, it's because they fear of being alone and feel the pressure from society to settle down. Few people find true love and just know the person they're with is THE one. If most people did, then the divorce rate would be so high. There has been a dip in the divorce rate recently, only because people are choosing to live together and not get married.

I think men who need to have more than one woman are generally insecure about themselves and need a lot of affirmation.
I don't think there is an average age when most men settle down, but I'd say it's probably between 24 and 34. Of those who do settle down, more than 1/2 get divorced. They're back on the market at age 35 and will remain on the market well into their 40s.
(Just guessing based on the men I know.)

We don't all date more than one girl and settle down when ever the time is right. Most of my friends are married or are in a serious relationship at the ripe age of 24. As for me, I'll wait til thirty. Still have a lot of things I want to do until then.

I'm a guy and I always wanted to be with one lady at a time. Everyone is different some are mature enough to realize that love is meant to be with one person. However the reason most guys need more than one girl at a time is because they want to look as cool as possible to their guy friends. The more you get laid the cooler you seem to other men its the truth. Most guys are weak and are afraid of what their friends think. A real man will not care what they think and will do what makes them most happy and be with the girl they love.
Once college is over it is less likely for them to go for two because there will be less peer pressure on them.

Miss Tella, Darling I have always figured it was he devil that made men and women need more than one ! I have always been wanting a one on one love. Taken in and fooled twice but married only one ! It took the right woman to make my Uncle settle down. He was in his fifties. The one I married was as bad as the first, divorced after 7, she had lovers !

Maybe because they feel for some reason in they're mind that they have to be players. Maybe it gives them a rush.
It's just personal preference. People are different.
I think men would settle down in their early to mid twenties.

Hun, if anyone know the answer to that, our divorce rate would not be as hight as it is now. we are all individuals here, you just have to be very careful of who and what kind of man you let into your life.
