i have been for my suit sizing for my upcoming wedding...and have gone for a short tailored jacket in black with black pinstripe trousers...ivory waistcoat and a ruche tie....my wife to be says that a tailed jacket would be better...what do you think

Tails are for formal weddings typically held in after 5 or 6 in the evening. That's just the normal rule, but if you try it on and like it and she likes it- it's your wedding so have at it.

I don't like tails, and my husband didn't like the idea of them either.
