I believe in squirrels. I believe in love. I believe in doing one's duty and living up to one's responsibilities. I even believe in paying my fair share of taxes.

I just don't believe in supernatural beings.

First of all, I'll try to put myself in the right angle.

Belivers, as deists and pantheists, will say that the agnostics are "non-believers".

Agnostics will say that deists and pantheists are "believers", but not in the proper way.

And then, deists will say about the pantheists that they are wrong worshipers. So, pantheists will say about the deists that the wrong worshipers are the deists, cause god is everything, incluiding all, rocks, rain, trees, etc.

The truth is that non of all above knows really what they are worshiping to. Because between deists there are many kinds of gods, of all types, and ocurrs the same into the pantheist religions.

Depends on the era and geography. They'd all be burning in Inquisition times. Today, those sorts of beliefs have been proven false and burning people is against the law - at least while they're still alive.

All three would be stoned to death as infidels in some countries. You know where. (I'm assuming of course, that the deists I'm referring to have committed the crime of believing in the wrong God).

Apart from the deists, I count the other groups as non-believers myself just because they irk the devout the most. Seems only agnostics, pagans and atheists - and the odd moderate religious person who really doesn't know much about their religion will accept them as is.

How did you become the worst squirrel?? I thought that you were only doubly bad!
Speaking for myself as an agnostic, I recognize that it is a rather schizophrenic position; in fact, I took the Beliefomatic test twice and received two different first rankings: Secular Humanist or Pagan. Obviously, I am confused! I consider myself a nonbeliever, since I am essentially a skeptic, a doubter, and a questioner -- questing for truth which may be forever elusive! I think that deism is an interesting philosophy and have always been attracted to the Greek pantheon. I feel, though, as if I stand on the outskirts of theistic society, an observer, rather than a participant. And, additionally, I created my own esoteric deity (AurL), dissatisfied as I have been with the available selection!

So stupid!!! AGNOSTIC – would not have faith something could be know approximately or proved some god. as a effect they'd nevertheless have faith a god exists. This description of course suits assorted Christians!!! ATHEIST - somebody who would not have faith in a God – any God – no longer in undemanding terms the Christian one. yet that would not recommend they do no longer carry sturdy ethical or non secular ideals! they'd persist with any faith that would not have a god and there are assorted those!! Like BUDDHISM – non secular coaching from Buddha and his followers that via destroying greed, hatred and fantasy (the reason of all suffering) guy can attain suitable enlightenment!! certainly there are a extensive sort of atheist religions!! PANTHEIST - believes god is comparable with the textile universe or the forces of nature. it may additionally mean a readiness to worship all gods. Why no longer seem at merely undemanding information until now making your self seem silly?!!!

Believers and non-believers are obviously not the only categories to consider. While they may be the only categories in a given religion, that religion most likely has not considered that their are other stances. For instance an agnostic does not believe that either case (theist or atheist) can be proven. This, in itself does not consitute disbelief. Is a non-believer someone who doubts or someone who disbelieves? An atheist disbelieves and defninitely fall into the non-believer category.

For any given religion, if someone believes in another God, then I think they are generally considered a "non-believer". If you believe in several Gods then I'm sure this applies as well.

Really, for most religions, if you believe in anything other than what that religion teaches, you are a non-believer.

Agnostics don't, but deists and pantheists do.

In the former case, we believe there is not enough information (not any, actually) to determine whether God exists or not. Furthermore, there are ignostics, who say that God has not yet been defined in a satisfactory manner, so we can't even begin to think about proving him.

Agnostics - no, they're just atheists w/o balls.
Deists and Pantheists - Are relics from pre-Darwininian times. I guess they have to be counted as believers.

Depends on what you are talking about believeing in. I am an Agnositic and I believe in God. No doubt defined differently than the God you believe in. I believe that God is the power and force of nature. Everpresent and ever in control. I don't believe that God is a concious being laying down edicts and making desicions about what is right and what is wrong. Does that make me a believer? Or perhaps that just makes me a person who thinks differenlty than you? I don't really know.

Non-believers.

Depends on who you ask.

To Christians non believers seems to mean anyone who doesn't believe in their god.

To the rest of the world it 's someone who doesn't believe in any God.

I was surprised to find out that the vast majority of Christians here see me as a non believer even though I often say that I believe in God. Apparently only their God counts, lol.
