I think it depends on the kind of work you are in and whether you have your own office. I think it's totally okay to display your diploma if it's nicely framed, it's your own personal space, and clients/customers would want to see that you have credientials. Also, licenses or professional certificates are okay too if they show you specialize in something. Don't hang your graduation tassels, athletic awards, or fraternity memorabilia; keep it career-oriented.

Never compare your accomplishments to someone else's accomplishments. What you did is what you did and what you did is amazing! There are many people who still do not have a BS or BA degree. There are many that don't have a high school diploma yet. Display what you are proud of. Think of it like this. If you have children but someone else doesn't, would you shy away from displaying family pictures? I hope you wouldn't. Find a good frame that matches with the colors in your office and display away.

Usually people don't display a degree unless it's at least a Masters or a Professional degree.
There used to be a guy in my office who signed his name John Doe, B.S.. It was completely inappropriate and it came off as pretentious as it was assumed he had a BS in order to obtain the position. Not to undermine your education, as I only have a BS as well, but nowadays a BS is what a High School Diploma was 25 years ago.
I'd put your degree up at home where you can see what you've accomplished, but keep the BS degree out of the office.

On the wall honey. It's your diploma. Don't worry about anyone else's. You put up with 4 years of hard labor so show it off. Nobody else does your work for you so display it loud and proud.
congrats by the way.

YOU earned it, you display it however and wherever you please. It is customary to hang your diploma in your working office if you have a traditional, professional job (e.g. Doctor, Dentist, Accountant, Lawyer, etc.). Some hang it in their homes. For instance, my friend is a police officer. He has a BA in Political Science, and due to the nature of his job, has his hanging in his home office.

I wouldn't worry about what other people have.
Get a decent frame for your degree and display it proudly.

You can display anything about you as long as it is your own office.
