You are overweight because you eat too much, you eat the wrong things and you don't exercise enough. It's that simple. So you can't go from one extreme to the other and stop eating. That's silly. You would then be starving your body and it would shut down and hold on to ALL your stored fat and calories to protect your vital organs. You need to eat lean protein, lots of vegetables, whole grains (the more fiber they contain, the better) and fruit. Yes, once in a while you can eat something you crave--but VERY little and not often. You need to eat a MINIMUM of 1,200 (the max about 1,500) calories a day to lose weight. And you need to exercise. Even if you just get out and walk BRISKLY for 1 hour a day (and I mean briskly-put your butt into it). You WILL lose weight if you follow these things.

Because not eating at all causes brain rot, which leads to misuse of the shift button on the keyboard. Obviously, it's severely rotting your brain.
OK, the reason is that your body works best with a certain minimum amount of nutrition. If you supply that during the day, and exercise so that you're using more calories than you take in, you'll lose weight. But if you eat everything at one meal, you're bound to get hungry during the rest of the day, and you are more likely to cheat on the diet. In other words, you're setting yourself up for failure.

A tomato is a fruit, btw. yet there are maximum of greater large vegetables! and don't overlook fruit! vegetables: Carrots, Cooked Carrots, Mashed Potatoes with some Garlic, Onions with some Mashed Potatoes and Feta Cheese, French Fries and Feta Cheese, Bean Soup, Bean Salad, Re-fried Beans on a tortilla (no longer so healthy, yet once you're hungry... ;D) culmination: Strawberries. Blueberries, Cherries, Cantaloupes, Honey Dews, Watermelons, Peaches, Nectarines (all of those are large for this season) and Oranges, Apples, Cucumbers, Zucchini, Grapes, and maximum of greater issues to make out of it, like Fruit Salad, a chocolate cake with a fruit topping, and so on!! yet those recipes are purely solid for vegetarians, vegans could no longer consume the cake, because of the fact it has milk and eggs :( and don't overlook Broccoli and Cheese!!! And cheese fondue with bread, apples, carrots, and so on.

Because, if you stop eating, your body will begin breaking down muscle tissue to use as energy and it will hold on to the fat. Not all 'weight' is created equal. You want to lose fat weight - not muscle.

The human body will slow it's metabolism if it isn't fed. It is a survival mechanism. If you eat and exercise your body will become more fuel efficient. You can boost your metabolism by exercising. Your body will burn more calories at rest.

People are fat because they're lazy. It's not because of food. Quit being so damn lazy.
