Supposedly it's bad for your health because it's so high in sodium and fat. A lot of the foods are fried and much of it is heavily salted. Unless you already have high blood pressure, the high salt content isn't going to hurt you. As for being high in fat, there are other choices in Chinese food that aren't high in fat and are actually quite good for you. "Experts" are always telling us that our favorite foods are bad for us.

according to the 'Experts' eating anything now-a-days is bad for you! I suppose we'll all end up being tube fed pure nutrients! Chinese food is as good for you as anything else, as long as its cooked right. Nine million Chinese people cant all be wrong!

It often has alot of fat in in- many items are fried, or cooked with alot of oil which tastes yummy but clogs your arteries.
