Yes., over five years ago now since I had a cigarette, thanks to becoming heathen. Yes, I said HEATHEN. :-)

I smoke *cigars* (which are neither addictive nor inhaled, and in moderation, not especially bad for you . . . taking the stress relief factor into account, I consider them a "wash" health-wise) but no cigarettes since my very first blot (like a "blessing" or "Mass") to the Elder Kin. I was using a Drighten McNallen blot script, since I hadn't learned to write my own yet, and, well, there's this one line in there about coming before them "not as a slave, for I have no master" . . .

I swear, that's right when the "jonesin' for a smoke" kicked in big time, and I could've sworn I heard someone say "oh, really?" . . . lol. Haven't had one since.

I never had a religion, but I got spiritual when I was 28 and started smoking at 13. I tried to quit then but smoked until I was 59, two years ago. I found out then that I had lung disease, copd, and coughed all the time. After two years of being on steroid inhalers, I'm finally pretty good now. Quit the inhaler around 3 weeks ago. When I get a little better, I'm going to start smoking again. NOT! After smoking for 46 years, it seemed not only inconceivable that I would ever quit, but I couldn't understand how people did NOT smoke :-) Now I overeat instead :-(

Years ago ,I tried to quit on my own failed,I was convinced it was killing me.I asked God to help Me and the Holy Spirit took it away.,Years later a Believer in Jesus Christ,I was doing some Hard work on Jet Air Craft,I started chewing Tobacco,The differant positions requried to perform work was tough on Me. I wasn"t thinking of Sin, One day while Praying about something else for a friend,The Holy Spirit
brought this Tobacco addiction to my attention,so I laid it before God,I said Yes Lord it is bad for me,Please help Me,
He did that has been yrs & I still think the Lord for breaking that addiction.Anything the Holy Spirit draws a Man"s attention to,He gives the Power to Break that stronghold.
I am Assy of God/ Also when Satan tempts You to addiction
use the Word of God/ I always use two or more/ God can deliver a man-women -boy or girl in a moment,If You slip just get up and get back in the fight,;

Apparently, it is going to lead me to a lake of fire, so it's going to actually cause me to smoke.

No but I am hoping Chantix will.
Hell I figure my 100 bucks is better spent on something that is scientifically backed rather than in someones collection plate.

Nah I have three kids and it costs too much freaking money. Chantix rocks, that's all I have to say.

Never touched a cig in my life, never will. It's a serious health risk and a filthy habit.
