In Italian we use the pharse/abbreviation 'cmq'. Can anyone tell me what this would be in English? Thank you

Square metres and square centimetres are abbreviated both as m2 and mq
and cm2 and cmq, respectively

'cmq' is an abbreviation for the word 'comunque' which means however, anyhow, anyway and even but.
The closest equivalent abbreviation would be 'btw' (by the way) which in Italian is translated as 'a proposito'.

it would be "anyway". I'm Italian and I live in New York, and I use that instead of cmq with my friends here! :-)
