We're getting married in October, and since both of us like to just hop in the car and discover new places, that's what we're going to do! I'm from upstate NY, near the Adirondacks, and we're just going to see what we can find in NY and NJ - shops, bed & breakfasts, hiking trails, you name it. What are some of the places you're going to for your honeymoons?

Congrats on your upcoming wedding !! My fiance and I are also getting married in October and we will probably go to Colorado and just drive the scenic highways and since we are both rock hounds we'll probably do some hiking were ever we find spots, and also we are into a thing called Geocaching, we'll probably do some of that as well..Can't wait !! If you like scavenger hunts and that sort try looking into that geocaching, you may enjoy it. I believe you can read about it at www.geocaching.com or google it. Hope you two have a long and happy life !!
PEACE !!

We won't have much money when we get married to spend on a Honeymoon, so we are going to spend a few days in downtown Chicago. We will be living in the suburbs, but we think that a downtown experience will be great-he's from Wisconsin, so he's not been around Chicago all that much, and I adore the City. So, we're going to find a neat boutique hotel and go tour museums, see a show, hit up some blues/jazz clubs and eat some fantastic food-and weather permitting, maybe spend a little time on the shore. We're pretty excited to start planning it.

exchange your honeymoon plans and do some thing much less high priced. through fact of this i think of everybody getting married could pay for his or her very own wedding ceremony and not place self belief in others to accomplish that. We ended up spending basically a pair of days faraway from abode in a hotel approximately 50 miles away after our wedding ceremony and characteristic been "honeymooning" at abode over the final 11 months. we've planned a greater complicated, longer trip this is already paid in complete to have fun our first anniversary in 4 weeks.

Since we're getting married in November we're going on our honeymoon next summer: France and Switzerland.

Right after the wedding, though, we're going to stay at the Bel Air Hotel, for a mini-honeymoon.

We were married in January of 06. It was snowing and beautiful in the Smoky Mountains. We had this awesome cabin with everything you could imagine. We also went hiking as many times as possible. In fact, as soon as we got out of our formal wear and stuff... : ) we went out hiking to these amazing water falls. Our wedding was at 12 so we had all day to do whatever. We went back for in October for an early anniversary present and are going back in September. I have a few more ridges to see and waterfalls to find. Good luck and congrats.

I'm going on my honeymoon July 1st( Wedding is June 30, 16 more days!!!) We are going to Cancun. To a all inclusive resort called the Moon palace! It's absolutely beautiful. It's about 40 minutes away from Downtown Cancun so we are close enough to go shopping and out to bars if we choose, but far away enough to relax.

Operating table at the local hospital....not my dream trip but necessary to have a long healthy life with the man I love :)

I keep telling myself that with the drugs I'll be on afterwards I'll be on more honeymoon trips than anybody else in the history of weddings. lol.

We have plans to take a real vacation on our 5th anniversary but not sure where yet. Probably Ireland or Germany.

We are undecided between 2 trips. We would like to go backpacking for a week in the mountains or a carribean cruise.
