hey i know this is probably weird, but i was in a talent show when i was younger and we had memorized this complex routine and what helped me was looking at someone u know the entire time or looking at something FAR away from u that is in-animate like the wall or something. It really helps to focus on something that cannot judge u. My hand and knees always got shaky before i go in front of people and i just do that technique and it really helps me.
I really hope i helped your nerves, I am sure you are fantastic.
GOOD LUCK!

I used to be afraid of singing in front of a crowd too. But what I did was I look straight to the back of the room where I am singing and you don't really seem to notice the people at all. I also close my eyes sometimes that helps as well.

All those who talked about nudity are senseless.Just try be confident.to build up your confidence you should face the crowds again and again and gradually you will feel more comfortable singing on a stage.Try to socialize and organize debates and speeches among your friends.Let them be the audience for your performances etc.Breathing exercises also help you a lot.Take three to five deep breathe before you enter the stage, try to repeat these statements - I do not need to be nervous. Why am I nervous after all I am a performer and they are just audience.I can do it,why the hell I should worry about what others think of my performance.I will sing how i can whatever people think I don't care.

At first you can also close your eyes or look up in the sky(don't tilt your head so much..juz don't look into the audience eyes) or imagine that you're standing in a lonely sea shore..all u can see is a big blue sea but then its escaping from your fear not overcoming it.

Also try to involve in your singing so much that you can actually enjoy your own performance and forget that you are on a stage.

glance over the crowd just above heir heads or look at the exi sign by the door or somethin that will keep u from lookin at someone direct. if u feel comfortable in front of a certain person, imagine the sitting there alone and that song is especially for them and no one else.your performance will be great!!

just focus on singing and try to make it seem like your singing by yourself at home...........don't focus on messing up because you probably will if you constantly think about it.......do the best you can

all of the normal stuff, deep breaths, close your eyes.

but also, stretch before you go onstage because it'll make your legs stronger.
