To lose weight you have to burn more calories than you consume. How fast you'll lose weight depends on how many calories you eat every day versus how many calories your body burns.

Walking is great exercise...go as briskly as you can (a leisurely stroll isn't going to do anything significant for you) and try to up it to 1 hour a day (all at once, or break it up). If you only walked today, then you aren't going to feel or notice a difference. It'll take several days before you see the scales change.

Losing 2 - 3 lbs/week is about as fast as you should lose, to keep it off after you hit your goal weight...but you'll need to keep eating healthy and exercising or you'll regain the weight.

Good luck!

Well besides the whole walking thing, can't you change your diet instead? Drinking water is very good for people who always feel hungry as it fills you up temporarily and is healthy. Eating less fatty foods and more healthy foods like vegetables and fruits and fibre foods is good. HAving healthy snacks that are also yummy can help too, like dried cranberries or apricots etc. instead of chocloate bars or crisps. Also, are you having five portions of fruit/vegetables a day? And eat less meat, but not too little so that you have no protein in your body. Plus you don't have to feel full to be full. Sometimes, it takes a little while for your body/brain to establish the fact that you're actually full, and experts say that you should eat up to about when you feel roughly 70-80% full, never 100% or more. It can be hard to accomplish this, but reducing how much you eat, little or little can help give a dramatic effect. Eating salads (not the ones with mayonnaise etc. but the green 'leafy' salads with dressings if necessary) more often can help too.
Of course, doing regular exercise is important too, especially after eating starchy/carbohydrate foods which give an instant supply of enrgy, which, if not used up will be converted into fat etc.
Hope this helps you lose weight!

Aim for at least 30 minutes a day - an hour or so would be better though - but also watch what you eat and drink. Don't drink your calories! A Coke has 150 calories! Coke Zero tastes exactly the same, and has zero calories. (Water is so much better for you though!) Also, if you "never feel full" try to slow down when you eat, and eat more veggies - you get more fiber (which makes you feel fuller) for fewer calories.

Keep a food diary - you bite it, you write it - for a few days and see what you're actually eating and drinking - try to be as exact as possible. If you find you're eating a crazy high or low amount of food, ask your mom or dad to make an appointment with your doctor - there might be something that needs to be looked at.

Good luck!!

A John R Lee MD tip drink a glass of water 30 minutes before your meal

As far as I am aware there is very little difference in the amount of energy used between running and walking the same distance. If it hard pavements you are exercising on walking is much kinder to your joints.

If you know that you're gaining weight from what you're eating, you might want to change that. They say pro athletes can eat anything they want because they're usually in peak physical condition, but if you're not starting out that way, you can forget not gaining weight from that ice cream.

Walking 30 minutes is a good start, but you're not going to see much of a result if you don't change your eating habits. Cut out the high fat, high sodium stuff in exchange for fruits and veggies and water. Gradually work up to jogging, then to running, and you'll see results a lot quicker. Hope this helps!

Zero. Walking is crap for fat loss if your walking specificaly to lose fat. (general walking throughout your day is good though).

You wanna do a 1 hour session of moderately intense cardiovascular excercise such as running, keep your heart rate elevated to 65-85% of your max heart rate for about 30 minutes of that 1 hour. A day.
